Q. Where did you grow up? 

A. Glenarm, Ill.

Q. Your most embarrassing moment?

A. My drill sergeant made me spin around in a circle for 30 minutes while saluting and saying the word “beep.”

A. Rolo, 9-year-old Dachshund, and Jasper, 7-year-old Dachshund and Beagle.

Q. Favorite season or holiday and why? 

A. Fall is my favorite season because of the cooler temperatures, and I enjoy sitting by the campfire with family and friends.

Q. If you had to leave the construction industry entirely and could walk into any other job no questions asked, what would it be? 

A. Park ranger.

Q. Who was your hero growing up? 

A. My father.

A. The Winning Loser.

Q. If you could have dinner with any celebrity, who would it be? 

A. Matthew McConaughey.

Q. If you had to choose between swimming with sharks, skydiving, and bungee jumping, which would you choose and why? 

A. I’d choose to go skydiving because it’s on my bucket list.
