O’Shea Team Spotlight: Kala Wells

Q. Where did you grow up? 

A. Springfield, Ill.

Q. Your proudest moment?

A. The day I became a mother to Brayden, the love of my life.

Q. Pet? 

A. One Weimaraner dog, Governor, and two cats, Tee Tee Fatness Catness and Meow Girl.

 

Q. If someone made a movie about your life, which actor would you want to play you and why? 

A. Jennifer Aniston because she is charismatic, likeable, and funny.

Q. Favorite season or holiday and why? 

A. Christmas! I may go overboard a bit, but I love to give and go out of my way to find the perfect gift for everyone.

Q. If you had to leave the construction industry entirely and could walk into any other job no questions asked, what would it be? 

A. I would love to be a travel critic. I’d get to travel the world and stay at so many places, gain so many experiences, and leave feedback on opportunities for improvement.

Q. Who was your hero growing up? 

A. My great grandmother, Maxine. She was amazing and taught me so many things. I probably spent the most time with her when I was growing up. We had so many adventures together, just her and me. She was truly my best friend, and I think that’s where I get my “old soul.”

Q. What is something you’re afraid of?

A. Snakes, Heights, and Snakes!

Q. What is the title of your biography?

A. In Process … Life is a Journey not a Destination.

Q. Fill in the blank. I think it would be really cool if O’Shea Builders __________. 

A. Had unlimited PTO!

Q. If you could have one super power, what would it be and why? 

A. Teleportation because I hate driving!

Q. If you were ever in police beat, what would it be for? 

A. Defending someone who could not defend themselves.

Q. Who was your first crush?

A. Denzel Washington.

Q. If you had to choose between swimming with sharks, skydiving, and bungee jumping, which would you choose and why? 

A. Swimming with sharks … I think I mentioned I was terrified of heights!

Q. Favorite Disney character?

A. Baloo from Jungle Book. Jungle Book was my favorite Disney movie.
