Anna Owens, daughter of Lori Owens, is an intern working part-time for accounting. She attended two years at Greenville University and will be starting her second year at SIUE, where she is majoring in Exercise Science and Nutrition with a minor in Art. Anna, resides in New Berlin with her family, along with their dog, Willow, and cat, Karter. Outside of work and school, Anna enjoys hiking, swimming, and hanging out with her family, friends, and boyfriend, Sonti.

Chance Dickey, son of Brent Dickey, is lending a hand in the warehouse. He is a graduate of Taylorville High School and has two pets, a dog named Max and a turtle named Turtle. When he’s not working, Chance likes to fish and play football and basketball.

Devanta Wade-Hawkins, field operations engineer, is helping on the Williamsville-Sherman School projects. He recently graduated from Western Illinois University with a degree in Construction and Facilities Management. Devanta, who grew up in Peoria, has three Chihuahuas, Freddy, Athena, and Melo. In Devanta’s spare time, he enjoys playing Call of Duty, cooking extravagant and unique foods, like "Miso Tonkotsu Ramen," and hiking.

Emma Carter, business strategies intern, is working with Harry Schmidt and Kala Wells this summer. She attends Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA, where she is studying Business Administration, Applied Mathematics, and French. Emma, who grew up in Springfield, enjoys working out (lifting specifically), painting, kayaking, and reading.

Lindsey Bettis, construction administrator, is working in our Springfield office. Prior to joining O’Shea, she worked for Memorial Health System, and most recently, she worked for Springfield Plastics, Inc. as an accounts payable clerk. Lindsey lives in Waverly, Ill. with her husband James and their two children, Connor (9) and Carly (6). In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys hanging out with her family, watching Illini basketball, swimming, and fishing.

Max Dirker, senior project manager, is working in our Springfield office. Before coming to O’Shea, he worked primarily in the Bloomington/Normal, Ill. market. He graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s in Construction Management. Max and his wife, Christy, live in Normal, Ill., with their two children, Jackson (21) and Delaney (18), along with their feisty mini Schnauzer, Lulu. When he’s not at work, Max enjoys visiting Chicago for Cubs games and concerts, spending time with his kids, and entertaining friends.
