O’Shea Builders is serving as Construction Manager on a project at Springfield Clinic’s Surgery Center in Peoria. The project includes a 24,000-square-foot interior renovation for a recovery care center and ambulatory surgery center (ASC), along with upgrades to the facility's exterior, addition of three canopies, and site work. Due to the condition of the original facility, the construction team had to “think outside of the box” to address the following challenges:
