O’Shea Builders started construction on an addition and renovation project for Hillsboro CUSD #3. The project includes replacing Hillsboro High School’s main classroom building with a state-of-the-art classroom building, which will connect the existing gym, cafeteria and ag buildings. This will create a single building with a new, secure central entrance. In total, there will be approximately 72,000 square feet of new construction. Additionally, O’Shea is constructing another practice gym, locker rooms, storm shelter and new parking lots and driving lanes.
Construction is expected to be finished for the 2025-2026 school year.
