Spalding Park

O’Shea Builders partnered with Champaign Unit 4 Schools and the Park District to renovate Spalding Park, which has several multi-recreational spaces that Central High School and Franklin Middle School students, coaches and the community use for various athletic activities.

The project included a new competition baseball field that has dugouts, bullpens, batting cages, backstop/fencing/stadium netting, bleachers, lighting and new practice infield. In addition, a new support building and basketball court with lighting were also constructed.
