Pana Community Hospital’s new addition and renovation brought new life to the 100 year old building. In phase one, the back of the hospital was expanded by a two-story addition. This addition houses a new laboratory, surgical suite, kitchen, and cafeteria to serve the hospital staff, patients and visitors. The second phase of the project improved how patients first encounter the hospital. The new entrance is more accessible for everyone and leads into private registration areas. The emergency department renovation created a space to assist the staff in caring for patients based on priority of treatment.
