O'Shea Builders is Construction Manager for an extensive reconstruction project at Springfield High School. Built in 1916, the building will undergo a transformative renovation that preserves the important historic elements of the building while providing state-of-the-art features.
The most recent project is at Springfield High School and includes a new gymnasium, new offices, major expansion of hallways and classrooms and even add-ons when it comes to certain art and music spaces. Construction begins in Summer 2024. BLDD is the project architect.
In 2017, Springfield Public Schools District 186 conducted a long-term facilities master plan to support 21st century learning called “Our Schools, Our Future.” O’Shea Builders joined the Project Management Team for the facilities plan that encompasses 34 projects over 12 years with multiple phases.
