O’Shea Builders served as Construction Manager on a project at Springfield Memorial Hospital, formerly known as Memorial Medical Center, that was designed to dramatically modernize and advance the size and scope of the hospital’s 7C ICU floor. The project included a 15,000-square-foot renovation for 15 ICU rooms that houses two new isolation rooms, five burn treatment rooms and one new security lock down room.
The complexities of building within an operational hospital are life critical, and with this project, our team ensured the hospital environment – both during and after construction – remained safe and functional for patients and their families, visitors, doctors and other staff.
