At O’Shea, we employ skilled field professionals as Superintendents and Field Engineers. Our connections to highly trained craft workers in the Central Illinois commercial construction market include:

Carpenters Local 270, which has 1,300+ members rigorously trained in Concrete Form work, Exterior Framing, Interior Systems, Scaffolding, and many other areas of Commercial Carpentry.

Ironworkers Local 46, which covers 20 counties in Central Illinois and performs structural steel erection and detailing, precast concrete erection, ornamental handrail and stairs, reinforcing placement for concrete in building and bridge construction, heavy rigging and machinery moving, pre-engineered metal buildings, and much more.

International Union of Operating Engineers Local 965, which represents trained operating engineer construction craftsmen and operating engineer construction drivers.

Plasterers’ and Cement Masons’ Local 18, which is part of the Operative Plasterers and Cement Masons International Association, representing and training plasterers and cement masons.

Central Laborers work in a variety of industries including construction and demolition. Their duties are geared toward maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient construction site while also supporting the overall project.
