O'Shea Team Spotlight: Scott Steiner

Q. Where did you grow up? 

A. I grew up in Springfield on the northside.

Q. Your proudest moment?

A. Becoming a papa of course.

Q. Pet? 

A. I have a female red fox squirrel named Tim, who isn’t really a pet, but she comes to visit often. (Pictured below)

 

Q. Favorite season or holiday and why? 

A. Spring is my favorite season because of the new life and new beginnings.

Q. If you had to leave the construction industry entirely and could walk into any other job, no questions asked, what would it be? 

A. I’d be a retired, broke down carpenter, just kidding. I would be a river boat captain.

Q. Who was your hero growing up? 

A. Steve McQueen, A.J. Foyt, Al Unser, Parnelli Jones, Rich Vogler, Sleepy Tripp, Mel Kenyon, and Kenny

Q. If you could have dinner with any celebrity, who would it be? 

A. Kevin Costner or Sandra Bullock.

Q. Which construction project are you the most proud to have been, or be, a part of? 

A. All of the Springfield church projects we have worked on over the years, especially Blessed Sacrament Church and the Cathedral.

Q. Who was your first crush?

A. Monica Brown was my first crush. I walked her home every day in 3rd grade, which was three blocks past my house and a mile from school and uphill both ways.

Q. Favorite Disney character?

A. Gru from “Despicable Me.”
