O'Shea Team Spotlight: Alan Schindler

Q. Where did you grow up?

A. Bartonville, Ill.

Q. Your happiest moment?

A. Holding my daughter for the first time.

Q. Favorite season?

A. Winter.

Q. If you had to leave the construction industry entirely and could walk into any other job no questions asked, what would it be?

A. Park ranger at Yosemite National Park.

Q. What is something you’re afraid of?

A. Having another stroke.

Q. If you could have dinner with any celebrity, who would it be?

A. Nick Offerman.

Q. If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?

A. The ability to measure dimensions without a tape measure, so I wouldn’t inch myself as often (common saying in the trades that means you read your tape measure wrong, and you’re off by an inch).

Q. Who was your hero growing up?

A. My uncles, Bruce and Mark. They are the reason I enlisted in the Marine Corps.

Q. If you had to choose between swimming with sharks, skydiving, and bungee jumping, which would you choose and why?

A. I’d choose swimming with sharks because I’m more comfortable in the water, and I hate the feeling of falling.

Q. Favorite Disney character?

A. Hades.
