Congrats to our Grad!

Congratulations to Project Manager Scott Kinkade, who recently completed the nine-week Construction Leadership Institute, an Executive Education program developed by SIUE School of Business and the Department of Construction in the School of Engineering.

The program’s goal is to provide participants with the chance to learn leadership, communication, and professional development skills needed in the industry through discussions, exercises, and simulations to prepare the next generation of leaders in architecture, engineering, and construction.

Now that he's completed the course, Scott reflected on what struck him the most about the program.

"After I finished the program, I realized how applicable the content was. Imagine doing an eight-hour deep dive with a subject matter expert on every component of your job. I learned about contracts, interview skills, how to control the media when disaster strikes the jobsite, and everything in between. I’d recommend this course to any project manager/engineer or superintendent wanting to hone their skills and deepen their knowledge," he said.
